Background & Experience
Dwight is deeply committed to sustainability and community development, serving as the Vice-Chair of the US Green Building Council (Louisiana) chapter. Under his leadership, the chapter aims to foster healthy and prosperous communities across Louisiana through education on sustainable practices. He also holds the position of Chair for the annual “Forward” Symposium, promoting discussions on green building initiatives.
In addition to his role at the USGBC, Dwight is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (Louisiana), contributing to the Real Estate Diversity Initiative (REDI). This program focuses on training and mentoring women and people of color, guiding them through the complexities of real estate development transactions.
Dwight is also passionate about education and mentorship, having volunteered at Louisiana State University (LSU) and Tulane University. He actively engages with students through ULI UrbanPlan, an interactive curriculum designed to teach the fundamental forces, complex trade-offs, and social risks involved in real estate development.
